Power and authority often shape the way we view and approach our emotions. We are conditioned to believe that some emotions are more acceptable than others, resulting in shame or the need to suppress our feelings. However, real transformation comes when we acknowledge that our emotions are not right or wrong, but rather influenced by our surroundings and perceptions. When we equip ourselves with this understanding, we are empowered to make decisions based on logic rather than fleeting emotions. It is up to us to become the change we seek, by providing ourselves with the provision to shift our perspective and embrace our emotions with compassion.
Change begins with a mindset shift, and by seeing our emotions not as something to be ashamed of, but rather as normal human responses, we unlock the power within ourselves to enact transformative change in our lives.
